last month I had to pay to upgrade because I got so many form submissions. I don't expect that to happen this month or ever again really. How do I move my account back down to a free account without disrupting any of my forms?

I see that you'd like to downgrade back to the free plan.
This won't affect any of your forms or data so long as you don't delete them yourself. :)
It's actually very easy to downgrade. Just go to My Account >>> Billing then choose "Free Plan" and click on it (Switch Plan) followed by Cancel Subscription. This will cancel your plan so that you are no longer charged. At that point your plan will finish running its course for the time you paid for and then our system will automatically downgrade you.

Yes it did work. I checked your account/username heidiwaggoner and I can see it was already cancelled and scheduled for downgrade to FREE.
User is scheduled to downgrade.
You will not be billed further and the account will auto downgrade on the date of its expiration which will be on Date: 2015-08-19
