Is it possible to autofill information in a form based on data from another form?

Is it possible to autofill information in a form based on data from another form? Basically, what I would like to do is have users sign up via one form and then be able to select their name from a drop down menu and have their information automatically fill. Is this possible somehow?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time.  There is no way for your form to query results from other forms and populate the data and field options from that data. 

It is possible to pass submission data directly from one form to another but only upon completion of submission:

But this does not reference submissions data, it only passes from when form when it is submitted to the next form.
