Apologies for the confusion, the email was intended for Free users. You will keep your existing low prices as long as your subscription remains active. All existing subscriptions are grandfathered. The new prices will only apply to new subscriptions.

We have been subscribers for over a year. If we decide to upgrade to a higher plan after August 15th are we paying the old price or the new price?

Usually we would move your post to a new thread, but seeing how this might be beneficial for the thread owner I am leaving it and will make my reply here. However if you have any further questions in regards to this, please open your own thread instead, by going here: http://www.jotform.com/contact/

If you upgrade your plan, you are basically changing the subscription, so at that time the current pricing will be applied.

So if you presume that you will need to upgrade in a recent period, I would suggest that you upgrade right away, instead of waiting for the price to change.

Please do note that this applies also to changes from monthly to yearly, or bi-yearly plans (or in any other order).
