What is the max character a textarea field can hold?

    When I run a test form, I am able to type a very long essay in the Additional Information box.  Others report being stopped after just a few words---that the box will not accept additional words.  Why is the capacity of this box not consistent, from user to user?

    Hello pgentner,

    I did check your form and found that you have not set any maximum entry limit of your text area field. Please check the screenshot below:

    Please be noted that textarea field can hold up to 40k characters which is virtually unlimited for just a form field. 

    Have you embedded your form in any webpage where you are having this issue with? Please share the webpage URL and we will take a look.
