Customizable List: How to get entries and fields reported to excel in different rows and cells?

I am using the customizable list widget and when I pull up my form submissions report in excel or csv, the fields and entry rows are all merged into one cell in the report. On the pdf submission confirmation report, however, they are grouped into a nice table and do not include the field name.

I would really like to be able to get a report where each field in a row is reported in a different cell in the spreadsheet, and each row from the widget is reported as an addtional row in the spreadsheet. Is this possible. Otherwise, it will be tedious to tease this information out and makes the widget not useful at all on the important backend report and database collection side.

Snapshot of how the customizable list widget reports the information in the submission notification report:

It would be much more useful to have an entry in the spreadsheet come across like the table above.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, field data is forwarded to the spreadsheet in one set per field.  The configurable list widget is considered a single field, even though it is comprised of many small parts.  Since it is a single field, all the data collected in the separate parts is forwarded to the document as a single entry.  There is nothing we can do at the current time to change the way it is output.

You could break down the configurable list into separate fields.  Short of doing that however, the data from a single widget will be forwarded as a single entry.

The widget makes the form look nice, but without breaking down the output, it unfortunately loses its usefulness as the data output is the important part.

When you say I could break down the configurable list into separate fields, do you mean within the widget itself or taking those fields and doing them individually in the form?

I would also suggest that in the widget description, it include a little summary of how the output is treated so that people do not spend a lot of time creating the widget and then finding out later that it doesn't report the data like they thought. Maybe adding screenshots demonstrating a sample of the widget and shot of what the data report spreadsheet looks like. That would be very useful.

    Thanks!

By breaking it down I mean taking those fields and doing them individually in the form.  There is limited space in the widget description and I'm not sure the extra information would fit.  However, I can see about adding a note regarding how the data is captured and how the output is displayed to the guide that is linked in the description.

Thank you. That would be most helpful.
