Need help to create Paypal items for Music Festival

Hi, I am creating a form to allow people to sign-up to perform in a music festival.  In the festival there are almost 500 classes that can be selected.  Typically, one performer would only choose up to 3.  The problem is each class has a different price associated with it.   The 500 classes are categorized by instrument so there would be Piano, Guitar, Vocal, etc.

What is the best way to create this and have it look very nice and clean?

    Thanks!

    Hello Brad,

You may like to take a look at the following guide on how to add special pricing and create sub products in your PayPal payment questions:

    Special Pricing:  https://www.jotform.com/help/265-What-is-Special-Pricing

    Create Sub Products:  https://www.jotform.com/help/264-Create-Sub-Products-Based-on-a-Product-Option

Do get back to us how the classes will be created based on the instrument category and we will be happy to create a small demo form for you.

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

Ok, thanks. I have been able to create the form I want but with one problem. I have created the various Instrument Categories that can be chosen but registrants need to be able to pick multiple classes (up to 3). How do I make all of the dropdowns available to be chosen up to 3 times?

e.g. Someone may want to pick Grade 1 Junior Piano List A and Grade 1 Junior Piano List B.

Thanks for any assistance you can lend.

    Brad.

    Hello Brad,

Unfortunately it is not possible to allow users to selected multiple options in the paypal product. What you can do is, add one more custom property in the same product and list the same set of options so that users can select multiple items but it wont change the price. Please be noted that special pricing can only be applied to one property.

Alternatively, you can create the same product/class 3 times which will allow users to select multiple classes.

    Thank you!

Ok, thanks for that. I have added the product list two more times so that the user can select up to three classes. Now the question is, where can I pick up these selections so I can store them in my MySQL database? I don’t see a “field name” associated with this that I can grab in PHP and store. Is this possible? If not, where will I see the selections? Only in the Paypal email?

Thanks again for all of you help, Ashwin!

    Brad
