    Prepopulate a field value in a URL not working inside a text field

    Asked by breev on August 10, 2015 at 06:11 AM

    Hi there, i'm trying to prepopulate a link with a Placeholder.

    Something like that:

    <a target="_blank" href="http://lmgtfy.com/?q={carModel}">http://lmgtfy.com/?q={carModel}</a>

    The placeholder works for the text, but not inside the link: (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=%7BcarModel%7D}

    Any idea on how can i fix this? I've tried several different ways.. No luck!

    This method seems to be working with Thank you page and Emails after submitting the form. However, I see that it is not working on the form text field. Let me forward the issue to our backend team to take a look at this issue. If there is any update on the issue, you'll be posted through this thread.

    Thank you!
