How can I make first purchase free, but charge for subsequent purchases?

    Hello

I would like to have a promotion where the first purchase is free, but subsequent purchases are charged.

I'm not particularly concerned about cheating the system, so I'm willing for email address to be used as the identification. If people want to use alternative email addresses for free service, then so be it.

How would I be able to do this?

    Thanks

Unfortunately, it is not possible to lookup existing submissions to validate the next purchase. However, we may achieve this by using a workaround with 3 different forms.

    1. Collect user information Form

    2. Free order form using Purchase Order

    3. PayPal order form using PayPal

Based on the option selected on Form 1, we can redirect the user to specific form to complete the free order or PayPal.

On the Free order form, we can have unique email address limitation so that only one entry is allowed per email address.

The email address from the first form can be pre-populated in the other forms from the URL by using the method mentioned in the thread here.

Please see the demo form here if that works for you.

Please feel free to clone the forms to your account to see how the conditions are added and redirected to other forms with URL parameters.

Let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help.

    Thanks!
