I followed your instructions to place a form I created into a googles page but I am getting this error: 404 Not Found File not found. form/

Asked by FAVE on December 19, 2011 at 10:11 PM

    This is what I did:

Go to your site. Switch to Edit mode. Open "Insert Menu" Select "More..." at the bottom On the new page, select "Add gadget by URL" option at the left. I enter the URL below as a gadget URL:

    http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/102235888454881850738/jotform.xml

        6. Then I clicked "Add"

        7. Then I previewed Gadget but all I see is the 404 error

    HELP!!!!

This usually happens if the Form ID in the Gadget URL is left empty, please make sure that aside from adding the Gadget URL the Form ID is also present. The Form ID is the last 11 digits displayed in end of the JotForm URL.

Since you already have added the gadget url all you need to do is to enter the form id. Open your Google Site go to the Edit Mode of the page then click on the Settings (Gear icon) of the Google Gadget. The following page similar below should be displayed, enter the Form ID in the required field.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for using JotForm.
