How can we read the encrypted submissions?

Asked by kurlos on August 13, 2015 at 11:39 AM

THe submissions are encrypted, so I cannot read them of course.  How do I un-encrypt them?  Thanks

I would suggest taking a look at the following guide: What are Encrypted Forms and how to use them as expert?

You will be able to see how to read the encrypted submissions, but also many other things that you might find interesting or did not know so far.

Of course if you have any questions do let us know :)

I have a form submission that has this:

How do I convert it to something I can read?

As mentioned in the guide that I have suggested above, the only way to do that would be to go into your Submissions Panel, and once you are asked for the private key to upload it to your forms.

Once you do, you will quickly see the change from the text above, to a clean and easy to follow (normal) text.

Do let us know how it goes.

Hi. Your suggested guide does not help solve this issue. Please pause and
consider that continuously referencing a guide that I've read twice does
not solve this issue. The prompt for the key does not appear after going
to the submissions panel. You wrote:

When you go to the submission data of an encrypted form, there should be a pop-up screen that will ask for the Private key. After uploading the private key, you will not now be able to open the encrypted submission.

Please see the animated image below on how it should be.

Please tell us if the same option is not happening on your end.

    Thanks.
