How to I specify a form field in my PayPal submission?

Asked by TBSConsultants on August 13, 2015 at 01:58 PM

I have an existing form that works great and when I look at the wizard for PayPal, on the 2nd page of the setup, it has a option called "Get Amount From" with a drop down.

But, on an existing form that I'm changing, at that same location the "Get Amount From" isn't there and it was replaced by "Suggested Amount" and a "Minimum" check box. How do I get it to say "Get Amount From"?

After I created a Calculated Field (which I couldn't find how to do that for a while - but now have found it), the option now pops up.

I was thinking I was losing my mind.  All it good now.

It seems to me that you meant you were were having trouble understanding how to get the "get amount from" option in paypal to work but then you seemed to have figured it out.

You are correct that the "get amount from" is died to the calculation feature.

If you ever need further help with it then I'd like to point out that we have a guide here https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field that explains more about how to use it properly.
