Questions related to autofill and page break

Asked by readalliance on August 14, 2015 at 01:49 AM
    Hi Ashwin,

Thanks for answering my questions, I have a following questions in reponse to your answers provided here - http://www.jotform.com/answers/637358-Can-data-in-incomplete-forms-be-saved?k=ad498d9d62c12c87b8b1d3e5b0053dd1

On #1 - the auto fill settings needs to be enabled by me only and then the auto fill gets applied to the form? or by the applicants who will be filling the form. Or both the parties need to enable this.

On #2- to understand you better, if for example an user fills the first two pages in one go and returns to the form later then the data earlier filled in the first two pages will be saved. And in case he had filled 2.5 pages then also the data on the first 2 pages will be saved and not the  0.5 data on the third page.

Please confirm if my understanding is correct.
    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Abhishek

    Hello Abhishek,

    Your understanding is correct,

After enabling the auto-fill settings this will be applied to the form and any user will have the information they input saved on their browser, you only need to enable it on your ed in the form preferences.

The auto-fill will happen as you have illustrated on the second question.

Please let us know if you have any further question regarding this
