We have an omnibus form that is to be filled out by the organizer of the event and the link forwarded to the Technical Delegate for review but when it gets to him it is blank.

I have tried opening in the following browsers - Chrome, Explorer and Firefox and it remains blank.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Stacy,

I do apologize for the issue that you are experiencing with your form.

To confirm, whenever using the edit link for a form submissions, the form is blank?

I did a test submission and used the edit link that was included in the autoresponsder and was able to see the information that was entered:

If you are still having an issue please attempt to clear your browser cache and your form cache to resolve the issue.

If you are having a different issue, please provide us with more details and we will look into this further.

    Thank you

Allow me to give a big more info:

I've had two users say that their "Link to Edit" information is coming up blank. I cannot seem to access the information is this one, but I can get info from a test submission that I've developed. Is there a reason why this is blank??

    Hi WALSAA,

The link provided: http://form.jotform.us/form/51876878575175?session=Sunrise Ridge  is a save session link, this allows users to save and continue their form at another time, without submitting the form.

The edit link that is provided by adding the {edit_link} option in your notification email is different than the session id.

Once the form is submitted, the session is cleared and the user would then use the edit link to make any changes to the information submitted in the form.

Are your users having an issue with the session id after the form has been submitted, or are they unable to edit their form, using the edit link after submission?

I hope this helps and I await your response.

Our client has cleared its cache and it is still coming up blank when clicking on the link.

    Hi Stacy,

As stated in the last response, the issue appears to be that your users are using the session link, which is to be used to save the form before submission, after they have already submitted the form.

To edit the form after it has been submitted they would need to use the edit link. Which would resemble the link seen in the screenshot:

The session ID link is provided after they complete the first form and they can used it to save and continue the form before it has been submitted. Once the form is submitted they would receive the link that would allow them to edit their submissions. The session ID link will no longer store information once the form has been submitted.

    Thank you
