How to re-import PDF form to JotForm

I uploaded a pdf form I created on my desktop a couple weeks ago. I received a notice that it was imported, but it's not in my list. Where is it?

The form is not currently on a website; I just want it to be available in my JF list.  Thanks.

    Hello dezertguy,

Does that mean that the form was earlier there in your account and now you do not find it anymore? After you received the email confirmation, did you see that form in your account.

I did check your account and found that you have several forms in your "Trash" folder. Please check the screenshot below:

If you do not see the form in trash folder, please send the PDF form and we will take a look. You may also like to share a screenshot of the PDF form. The following guide should help you how to upload image in forum post:  http://www.jotform.com/answers/277033

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

Thanks for your response. To answer your first question, the form never showed up in my account. I checked my “trash”, per your suggestion, and deleted those old ones. I’ve attached the form I’m trying to upload. Thanks for your assist. In general, I have been very pleased with JF and have referred JF to several other former Adobe users … Greg

What was the name of your original PDF Form? Can you try importing it again?

I've looked around some but currently I'm not exactly sure what I am looking for just yet since I don't see it in your account either.

Were you logged into this account you are on now when you originally imported it?

The name of the form I’m trying to upload is ASofM FINAL. Can you send me the link to the upload area, please. Just went through your help area and can’t find the link I need to upload the form from my desktop. It was uploaded so long ago I forgot where your upload area is. I only have one account, so I’m guessing I was logged in. Thank you … Greg

    Hi Greg,

You can try to import your Form Central PDF form using this linkhttp://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/. Just scroll down a bit on the page and the Import Forms button will be displayed in the header bar.

Upon click of the Import Forms button, a popup will appear,

Please take note that only the PDF Import Options is working. The other imports, are no longer functional.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.

Thanks for the heads-up. I couldn’t remember where the upload page was. I just re-uploaded ASofM FINAL. Fingers crossed that it will post this time. Upload seems to have been successful. Will advise.

I saw it in my list in minutes this time! WooHoo! I presume at some point, after it’s been examined for and security “issues” by JF, that I will be able to edit it like the others? Thanks again for your prompt responses.

    Hello dezertguy,

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to ask if you can edit imported PDF form?

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to edit imported PDF form in our form builder. If you want you edit it, I would suggest you to create the form fresh in your account and then make changes to your form. Once you create the form in your account, you can convert it to PDF:  http://www.jotform.com/help/312-Fillable-PDF-Everything-you-need-to-know-about-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator

    Thank you!

Hi … Yes, that was my question. So if I want to make changes down the road to a form I imported, I need to edit it on the computer, re-submit it and delete the old one. Correct? Thanks.

Yes, it should work for PDF forms.

In case you manually create a form through JotForm, you will be able to edit it at any time. Imported Adobe FormsCentral web forms are also editable.
