    form crashing

Asked by greyscalegoods on August 18, 2015 at 04:33 PM
    Hi,
I have reached out several times now with various issues with my form. I have followed the instructions to re-embed using iFrame function and taken out most of the problematic page breaks.
There seems to be inconsistencies with the issues that my submitters are encountering but I just received this feedback about the form crashing, and I was hoping that you could provide some insight as to any current issues that you are able to see on your end?

"It wouldn't work on my iPhone (safari) — it just reached the point where I was supposed to select the photos— it would just go back to the beginning.

On my computer, using chrome, I got to the very end, but when I hit "submit" I got a grey page with an icon of a sad piece of paper. Like something from 1984.

I finally was able to register on Firefox."

thank you for your time in helping to resolve this!
    thanks
    Sara

    Hi Sara,

The form is embedded using our iframe method and it's working fine to my end. I don't have an iPhone, but tested it with an emulator and still, the form worked great there and I was able to submit it without any issues.

But based on the feedback, I think the issue here is with the File Upload button. The form isn't that too long that would crash when it's access. In this case, I would suggest enabling the multi-upload tool and see if that will help:

As for the submit button part, I'm sure what you mean by that. When you submit the form, you will see the "Please wait..." message in the button. If you can take a screenshot and post it here, that would be great and help us identify what's causing that problem.

    Thanks
