How can I change a form after it has been sent in?

    Hi

We forgot to insert a field for"country" in our form, but would like to evaluate our answers by countries. We have inserted the field into the form now, so that all future responses will have the country included.

If I saw correctly, the only way to change an old answer in a form is to "resend" it after having changed the answer in "submissions". This would mean though, that everybody that has sent in a form would receive it again, which we do not want.

Is there another way to do this without having to submit the forms again? we do not want to change this in the excel sheet only as we would like to use the "visual report" for evaluation.

    Thanks for your answer!

    best regards

    adriane

You can achieve that by editing your submissions. Inside of this guide you can find out how to do it:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/325-How-to-Edit-Submissions-Made-on-Your-Forms

If you have Email Notification and Autoresponder inside of your form, when you edit your submission and submit your form with new data, new Email Notification and Autoresponder will be sent.

If you have Autoresponder inside of your form and you do not want that your users receive new email with submitted data, you can disable Autoresponder while you are editing your submissions.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
