I do find it frustrating that when i am using a guide to help me do something, at the moment it is form collapse i have to open jotform again to go to support so i can switch from support to my form and work on it in real time. it would useful to have this happen automatically.

I'm not sure if I understand your query correctly. I understand that you were working on Form Collapse and required some help that needed to be opened in a separate tab. Do you want to have the help section on the same form building page? Please provide us with more information so that we can take it forward to our back-end team if necessary.

We will wait for your response. Thank you!

what i mean is when i am working on a form and need help, and go to support i leave the form i am working on to search for support. if i forget to do this by logging into jot form on a second tab on my browser i lose the form i am working on so can't go from the support information back to the form. it would be nice if support automatically opened in a new tab

You can right click on any link to bring up more options.  From those options, you can choose to open the link in a new tab or window if you would like.  By default our navigation takes you to the new page in the same window and this is likely how it will stay.
