Better Approval Form Workflow from within Email Inbox

Hello epic people of Jotform, *prostrates in reverence

I am trying to create  a request form that can be approved in the inbox of one of the parties in the email notifier.

I tried improvising by adding an "edit link " to the form. But My superiors want a one click approval process in email/inbox of the approver (not opening another window to the form).

    Is this possible with Jotform?

Ps. I tried using an alternative (formstack), they have this feature and I strongly recommend you add it to jotforms. However, a comment window opens after clicking approve (in the email notice).

To my understanding it seems that you want to have a "one-click approval" option which would be contained within an email.

Unfortunately, to my knowledge other than the use of an Edit Link with the Email Notification and Conditional Logic as suggested here https://www.jotform.com/help/194-How-to-Assign-a-Status-to-Submissions and in other threads we don't currently have any other alternatives to this as of yet.

Since you are requesting an improvement for this type of feature I have opened a new feature request for this on your behalf. However, be advised that I cannot promise any sort of timeframe nor would we condone "copying" our competitors features since we prefer to release our own new innovations to set us apart from the rest of the crowd wherever possible.

Thank you very much for the timely response. However, I don think you aren't "copying" a competitor by adding that function, it was a business solution conceived by my boss and I was tasked with finding an that solution, all it took was a search on google for your competitor to appear.

I think it will be great if jotform can "replicate this solution"  and remain on top of the competition.

Thank you for the timely response, I do appreciate this.

You are welcome and my apologies for any confusion. By saying that I just meant that we would rather innovate something newer and better instead of the same exact thing more than likely.

But, I do agree with you that we need something of the sort which is the reason why I've sent this as a feature request to our developers and we'll update you here as soon as we know more if this happens to change later down the road.
