    One
On the below form i am working with form collapse items. Within the first form collapse item is content with a checkbox.

The idea is that when you check the checkbox a requestform appears. This form is hidden using a form collapse.

So the conditions i made is: When checkbox selected show the formcollapse. But it's not working!

The other way is make a show/hidden condition for every form element, but that's to much work and difficult to manage when you have to do this for say 4 or 5 items in a form. So that's option.

Is it possible what i am doing? If so what am i doing wrong?

    Two
As you might notice i changed the styling on the collapses. All works fine, only the beginning part of the hidden form collapse shows (bottom of form). Looks like a CSS issue, but i cannot find out where it is. I copied all relevant css fields.

    Hi,

I've managed to fixed your form conditions, please clone this form back to view the conditions settings.

    http://www.jotform.com/form/13635708600

    Here's what I've made.

First, you need to change your last form collapse visibility to visible, you don't need to set this as hidden since you're going to use form hide/show conditions. Second, a bit labour intensive, you need to set hide/show conditions each fields under your last form collapse not only the form collapse it self. I know this is a bit painful but it's the only way to make it working properly. Finally, when form conditions was created correctly it should fixed your second question.

Please let us know if you have further questions. Thank you so much for using JotForm and have a happy new year!

    Thanx, for the quick answer!

As you can see on http://www.jotform.com/form/13472549696 it now contains 6 collapses, which all will have the same functionality: when you want to request the product you check the checkbox and the requestform appears.

I have to create (6 x 8) 42 conditions.. is there another way to do it? Is pagebreaks an option? Tried it, but did not get it working. I just want to be able to hide the form as a whole instead of field by field.

I tried your solution.. It solves it 1/2.. the visibility for the last form collapse must stay invisible, because it's only there to make it separate from the above form collapse. The last form collapse itselve should never be visible, only the content (ie. the requestform).

As far as I know, there's no other way to do it. You can not group fields and hide them at once, you need to make conditions for each fields.

    Is pagebreaks an option?

With your current form, I don't think page-break is an option. Page-break would cut your form into a multi-pages form which makes the switching a bit harder unlike the form collapse where everything is visible and is easier to switch.

I have edited my form, please check it if that's what you mean on this. After setting your last form collapse to hidden, you need to change its status to open, this is to show the hidden fields automatically when certain conditions are met.

Please let us know from what part you are still having any difficulties so that we can further assist you. Thank you so much.

Thanks, your solution works. I will implement it. If Jotform could find a solution for the above problem (making 42 conditions, when 6 would be ideal through grouping fields). I think it will be a great enhancement for the system.

Ok, in the conditions panel there is an option of jumping:"Skip to a page or end of the form / Allow users to jump to a part of your form according to their choices".

Can't i use this one? I tried it but seems not to be working. Seems that collapse and page break don't reallu like each other.

    1. I leave alle the form collapses as is.

    2. Place a page-break within every form collapse.

    3. Remove the last form collapse and replace it with a page-break.

    4. Setup a condition saying:"when box checked and button clicked, jump to last page-break.

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. That feature request was already included on our to do list, and it is being considered for future implementation.

I just tested what you've mentioned above and page-break doesn't cooperate well with form collapse. At this moment what I can suggest to you, if you want to use page-break you need to remove form collapse. Otherwise, you need to remove page-break if you want form collapse on your form.

Please check this sample form with page break conditions: http://www.jotform.com/form/13633920554

Just let us know if you have further questions. Thank you so much!
