I have figured out how to notify the website via email but for some reason the image does not upload even though its attached

The email is very simple - subject is HEADLINE  act now available 3rd September

Body         now available due to cancellation tel xxx xxx xxx

    With an uploaded picture.

When I send direct email to email - the picture attachment shows up on the website but I must be missing something on the Jot form notifier to make sure the required image field is also posted direct to the website

    any advice please. thanks

Below is the screenshot of how it should appear and below that the screen shot of how it appears on the website

There are several ways to achieve what you are after, but to make it easier for us to help you I would like to first repeat what I believe what you are after and to ask you few questions that will help us set it all up.

I believe that this is the form that is used to submit the image: http://form.jotformeu.com/form/52422206536347.

Now looking at that form, I see that you are not POST-ing the data to some page on your website - where the image would be shown, but I can not see any webhook being defined neither.

So what I would like to ask is the following:

    1. How are you retrieving the images - over WebHooks, POST data, API, or maybe in some other manner?

    2. What code are you using on your website to capture the data and show the image?

For the code - especially if there is a lot of it, I do suggest using a tool such as PasteBin.com and providing us with the link to the paste.

Thanks for the response and I am going to sound really thick. The site is set up using square space and ordinarily if I or anyone sends an email to a given squarespace address , squarespace automatically assigns the headline as the subject of any email, the text/body as a description and any picture attachment is automatically loaded. I insert no code - as I say it is automatic on squarespace.

So I can't answer any of the questions you ask regarding webHooks etc as it is retrieved automatically which I thought I would be able to do using the email form.

If I need to add code I am comfortable doing that as long as I know where to get the code, and where I need to add it ie header, body etc

    regards

    and thanks again

OK, thank you for the additional details.

Unfortunately I am not that familiar with SquareSpace (I know of it existing) so I can not give you any advice on how to handle this especially since quick look at their guides seems to point to simply sending the emails to your specific email address.

However this is something that you should contact them - SquareSpace support in order to be able to accomplish this, since they would be able to see what kind of info is received and if there is anything that you should change in your notifier or in the setup on your website.

If they tell you that you should make some specific change in the email, do let us know and we will do our best to help you set it all up from our side.
