Pending submissions: Needs automated exception notifications

    Not exactly "Set it and Forget it".

    What this needs is an automated "exception notification".

    Pending the transaction is certainly correct; the problem is not telling anyone about it (unless they browse ALL their forms EVERY day - which of course is terrible).

    Please!!

    You could require that we set up an "Exception Notification" email when we create our other e-mails.

    Then we'd either direct that email to ourselves or fire it right back to the user, telling them that their transaction is incomplete "try again".

    This has been added to the list of feature enhancements it is being asked a lot which is why we have marked it as important. As of the moment though there is no time frame yet as to when this will be implemented. Over the past months our developers were busy with adding new features and fixing other reported glitches rest assured that this is on the to do list.

    David,

    It is with a lead developer and has been marked as important, unfortunately we are not in position to give an update on when it might be implemented at this time. 

    At the moment, the developers are extremely busy responding to events of last week, while we see the strong demand for this type of feature, ensuring the robustness and reliability of JotForm has to take precedence over the addition of new features. 

    I am just asking you to try and be patient and hopefully we will see this feature at some point in the near future.

    I suggest you to open a separate thread requesting such function so we can forward this to our developers and asked them if any progress has been made about this function.

    Guys, this has been going on for years and a really important point - please, when is this going to be implemented?

     

    Will have to find another form solution if it's not fixed soon!

    Hi,

    This feature is already implemented. You can now received email notifications on pending submissions.

    To enable it,

    1. Right click your payment field,

    2. Click Show Properties

    3. Set "Yes" on Pending Payment Email.

    Hi, I saw your fix above...can you tell me how to go about seeing email notifications on pending submissions in the new version of Jot Form?
