Generate barcode for the submissions
- Vincent GrossAsked on September 01, 2015 at 02:37 PM
I need a form that will create a unique barcode for every form that is submitted, this barcode will capture all data field entries so when my field tech scans the barcode on thee printed paperwork all the field details will be displayed on his tablet screen. Can JotForms do this? If so, how?
Thanks,

Unfortunately, we do have a widget that can create a barcode where all the submission data are encoded in it.
However, please check this one if this will work for you: http://widgets.jotform.com/app/dynamic_qr_code. It's more of a QR code though.
Another possible way is to use a 3rd party service for a barcode generator or a barcode script and embed it on your form's full source code.
I hope that helps.

Dear Charlie,
i followed the instructions to generate an unique barcode for every submission. However, when I test it, the barcode does not appear on the confirmation /auotoresponer email.
