I have emailed 2 times over the past 2+ weeks to get an answer to this question and have gotten no response.
I used the birth date picker tool for my order form., but I was getting users who were older than the date picker allowed. So I changed the date field to a text box for my users to fill in. Upon returning to my form results ALL the previous birth dates are gone. I MUST have these back in order to fulfill the orders.
How can I get the birth dates back? There was NO WARNING that my old data would be erased.

Your email was entered the same day. You might be not getting our emails. Please check your spam folder.
Here was the response sent by our support:
It is not possible to retrieve the column as you have deleted the column (birth date field) and created a different column.
There is a small possibility that you can retrieve the data but it is not guarantee
What you can do is create a birth date field again and save your form. Then look for submissions.
If they don't still appear then it means They are gone.
Please be careful while deleting the form fields as they are the columns in your submissions. If there is no column then where would the submissions be stored.
Anyways, I recovered the data and created an "Old Date of Birth" field on your form. Since the field types are different I wasn't able to merge it with the new Date of Birth field. So, they will show up on different columns on the report.
I also used Conditions to hide this question on the form.
