    Problem embedding form into site.

Asked by PearlLogic on January 03, 2012 at 03:22 AM

When I embed a form into my site, I must use the embed into dreamweaver option, as the embed as javascript will not work and leaves my page with the script tags and code line.

When I do that, two problems occur.

The first is that where before I had fields I marked as required in order to move forward, you can no proceed to the next page without filling in the required fields.

The second problem is that upload buttons previously set to allow multiple uploads now only allow one upload at a time and when you select a second upload it replaces the previous upload.

Can you please help with either problem, or preferabley both? =]

    Thank you.

Here is an example of a problematic form.

Well it turns out I suppose that I got it to work by using the option to embed as an i-frame.

So I my problem is fixed but you might want to look into the problems when attempting to embed as dreamweaver code.

That's because of code conflicts between your site and the form which causes the form to lose its functionality. The best way to solve it is to use iFrame code. Since form is called inside an iFrame it does not conflict with anything on your page.

Please let us know if you have further quesitons. Thank you so much!
