Can I hide what I am typing in a text form?

Asked by aderkal on September 08, 2015 at 06:39 PM

I am trying to create a work around to the password issue.  I have set up a condition that makes the user type in a

password before the submit button will show up.  I am looking for a way that when they enter the password, they will only see ******** instead of actually seeing the letters and numbers, like any other password online.

    Please advise.

Could you please explain why you need a password field. We do not allow login forms, or forms that would ask and collect passwords of any kind. Please refer to our terms of use.

Creating forms that would collect credit card information, passwords, or otherwise sensitive information would quickly be detected by our Phishing Detector Tool, or by our Manual Review team, and the account would get suspended.

We only allow signup forms, if it may help you: https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/category/signup-form

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance, we will be happy to help.
