How to have different type of Payment Option using the Form

  • realfoodkitchenmeals
Asked on September 8, 2015 at 10:54 PM
Can you set up the multiple payment form for me once and then I can emulate for my forms as they change bi-weekly.
You can see that I would like my clients to be able to choose how they pay and when:
    PayPal immediately
    Cash or cheque upon delivery
    Etransfer prior to delivery.
Let me know what you also think will be easiest for my clients, as in streamlined.

Can you please clarify first if what you wanted to have is similar to what was described on the user guide:

Here is the demo form you can test to see how it works

    Hi,

I did checked the form provided by my colleague and I noticed that the Totals are not computing properly. I am currently checking your form. Please give me more time to further check this issue. I will get back to you as soon as I finish the setup of your form.

    Regards.

    Thank you very much Chriistian!
This seems to be working and I have cloned it as:
    http://www.jotform.ca/realfoodkitchenmeals/SEPT_17_ORDER_FORM
Please take a look here and see how I would also get the $8 delivery charge on the calculation if they were to choose that option.
    Thank you, Shana

I changed your radio button for the delivery fee to a checkbox.  This was to allow your users to remove their selection if they made it in error.  After I added the checkbox, I assigned a calculation value of 8 to the selection:

How to have different type of Payment Option using the Form Image 1 Screenshot 30

I then added that field to the total calculation:

How to have different type of Payment Option using the Form Image 2 Screenshot 41

If the selection is made, 8 will be added to their total.

    Here is the resulting form:

I apologize if my latest response had been sent multiple times to you (your email). My browser get hanged up when I was sending the response. I hit the send option more than once thinking the message did not reached you. I just noticed that it actually did more than once.

Please just remove the duplicates of the response in your email.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have noticed that you had a disabled condition because of a deleted field. See screenshot below.

    Hi there.
The calculation is still not working on your cloned form? All of the calculations are wrong in the forms submitted so now I have to go through and check each one? Is there anyway to adjust this.
Maybe call my cell (below) and we can talk about what options there might be or if you can fix something on your end that would be great.

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer phone based support.  I checked your calculation and it appears to be working correctly.  May I ask, what is wrong about the calculations?  I noticed the price for the meatballs was off a bit but only by a little.  I have corrected that in my clone:

    http://support.jotform.com/form/52564502764962

That was the only one I could find that was incorrect.  Your other values look right.  I am not sure what are you referring to by all the calculation being wrong.  If you could let us know which items are not calculating correctly we will be happy to adjust them.

You found the error in my calculations! With that one wrong, anyone that ordered meatballs totals are off….
But some people’s totals are off by $15 and $20?
Can you see my submissions? If so, please look there to see what the problem might be.

If you could let me know which total were incorrect, I can find out exactly why they were.  All the fields I checked produced the correct totals.  The only ones I was able to find that were off were the meatballs.
