JotForm on iOS browsers renders the record voice and take photo fields as 'choose file' button instead of record button and take photo button as with desktop view. Does the same in any ipad browser.

    cheers

Has there been any progress on this? Additionally when I click photo, everytime I try to click submit button, the page navigation moves and does not allow me to click. This is happening on iOS. I have not yet tried on another mobile OS

There is no update at this time, but I would like to mention that Upload file button is shown as a fallback - so if your system does not have all the things that are needed for the form to be able to record the audio or grab a photo, upload button is shown so that you can grab the same using some app on your system and then upload the saved file to your form.

This way you can rest assured that if the system / device or browser do not allow access to camera and mic, that people submitting the form can always upload their own.

The upload field is the default fallback for mobile browsers, most of which do not support the flash api, or the new getusermedia API. Hopefully that will change soon.

We've made some updates that will greatly improve your experience with these widgets - please give them another try, and let us know how that goes.

    Cheers!
