Feature Request: Rename uploads based on form entry

Hello there,

I've gone through tons of forum Q/A and have seen many many requests for the option of renaming uploaded files based on user form entries.

Are the jotform geniuses any closer to making this happen?

Hi,

The files uploaded will retain the same file name as they had when uploaded.  It is not possible to alter the file name during or after the upload process.  The files need to retain the same file name in order to be properly linked in our database.  If you need a certain naming structure for your files, you would need to advise your users of it prior to them uploading the files.

+1 this request. We would like to be able to attribute create a unique id during our registration process and have the ability to automatically rename the file upload with that unique id.
