The last couple of hours our forms where down (501's)

Are you aware of this ?

We are based in the Netherlands and my whole staff (15 people) is working with jotforms on ipads.

If the forms are down we cant do our job. Hopefully this is a very occasional glitch, but please let me know what was wrong and how you prevent downtime in the future.

    Regards,

    Marten Lemstra

I have tested your form https://www.jotform.com/form/52162509925356 and I was able to submit your form. When I submitted your form I got redirected to Thank you page.

Is that the form that you are not able to submit? Are able to submit your form on other devices?

If that is not the form that you have issues with, please provide us ID of your form or URL of your website if you have embedded your form.

This error can happen when when URL of the form is not correct.

A 501 is HTTP status code for not implemented. This status code is received when the server does not support the facility required.

    Looking forward to your reply.

That is one my forms indeed. The problem was that the form itself couldn't be opened.

So when visiting the url of the form, the browser just shows a spinner until it timed out and gave a 501 error.

I also checked isitdownrightnow.com with the url of my form, and they confirm the url wasn't reachable.

Now (and by the time you tested it) everything was fine, but for a period of around 2 hours the forms weren't reachable.

i do see some difference in the used urls in the forms, some have jotformpro in them and some have jotformeu, does this matter?

No, it looks like it was just a temporary glitch, this is not something that happens regularly, so your form will work normally as expected. If by any change you see that happening again or any other issue, please let us know, so we can test and fix it as quickly as possible.
