The IP Address on all the submissions is identical, yet they are from different network nodes, how can I detect which one?

I have configured the submission report (Excel format) to contain the IP address of each submission, yet all the submissions have the same address.  How do I get the actual IP address to appear?  The users are all from the same subnet as they are from the same company; this is an internal company survey.

Is this more likely a network issue, or a jotform issue?

    Hello,

Jotform captures the global IP address of the network. So if the users run on the same network, then they most likely have the same IP address. Unfortunately, it is not possible to check whether the user uses actual or fake IP address.

    Thanks!

Cris - thanks for the info.  I was afraid that was happening.  I need to identify who is completing a survey, but I've asked that under a new question.

You're welcome. I presume this sorts out the question. Should you have anything else to ask, just open a new thread. Cheers!
