How to copy a submission from one form to another?Asked by focusphotola on September 15, 2015 at 08:18 PM
We run an annual competition that relies on JotForm to send us submitted queries. This is the second year we will be using your service and upon setting up the new forms we forgot to clone and create "new" forms so we can log the new submissions for this year. It's not a huge deal but so far we've received one submission that we'd like to clone from the previous years form to the new form so that this years form is congruent with the actual amount of submissions. Is this possible to copy submissions from one form to another?
Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement. You can take advantage of our "Import Data" app to import submissions from excel or csv file.
The following guide should help you how to download your form's submission data of specific date range in excel file: https://www.jotform.com/help/73-How-to-Partially-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF
Once you download your form's submission data in excel, you can take advantage of our Import Data app to import the submissions in cloned form.
Hope this helps.
