Reference Live List Updates Externally for Field DataAsked by lafhab2 on September 17, 2015 at 10:56 AMWhilst not a coder/programmer myself, I cannot understand what the difficulty is here. We are a training establishment, we have over 200 forms and we are regularly updating many forms with new students. We are wanting the option of forms referencing an external list/file so that we have just the one source to update, not many forms. To clarify, on our Jotform account we should have the option of creating easily editable 'lists' and for this example we would have a list of students. Then forms would be easily updated/created to use that list LIVE for options (dropdown, checkbox, radio buttons etc). This has to be not only possible but fairly easy, considering far more complex things have been created on Jotform.
To my understanding you mainly want to do as requested in the original thread that you wrote on which is to reference an external list of data for live updates on your form fields per your explanation above.
I'm not sure how feasible this really would be but I am sending it over to our development team anyhow since we've received a few requests for this including yours. They will look it over as soon as they can for consideration. Also, please note that we cannot make any guarantees and if there are any changes for this then we would update you on this thread.
