So to add to the confusion, you guys have helped me print these docs. for when we go to the site visits, but pretty soon these folks are going to want to submit their surveys online and I was wondering if that can still be done? And how would that work if say they wanted them to go to a certain email address? Only about 12 people in all

    Hi,

Your user can fill up the form online. You can share to them the direct link/URL of the form so they can fill them up online. Then you can setup a Notification Email and/or Autoresponder to your form so that the you will receive an email when the user submitted the form (Notification Email) and also the user can receive an email when he/she submitted the form (Autoresponder Email). You can check this article for the guide on how to set this up: Creating a Form Autoresponder and Setting Up Email Notifications.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.

Ok, thank you for your response....this is great news! Do I need to add a submit button at the bottom or how do the users know how to submit the form?

Yes, you will need to add submit button to your form. It is the best practice to add submit button at the bottom of your form. Form can not be submitted if there is no submit button.
