    Single item order form : need button unchecked by default

    Is there a way to have the radio button unchecked by default?

    You can try adding a 2nd product and have the amount of the 2nd product to zero.  Next find the ID of the free product's checkbox, and also the 'for' value attribute of the label.  Once you found it, you can hide it via CSS.

    Here's an example:

    #input_34_1055 {display: none; } //checkbox ID
    .form-product-item label[for|="input_34_1055"] {display: none;} //hide the label via 'for' attribute
