Checked values of a checkbox are not sent in the email notifier

I am trying out JotForm for the first time, and mostly like it, BUT in our first form, we have several sections that have check boxes in them that we need the info.  When we try the preview of the form from our Muse site, none of the items checked off come through in the email.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    Michelle

I think I figured it out.  For whatever reason, the "Check Box" tool in the Form Tools section does NOT work for multiple items--even though it gives multiple options, and allows you to "Add" more checkboxes.

When I deleted that tool item and used the Widget for the check boxes, then I was able to have all selected items come into the submitted form.

However, the downside is that the widget didn't allow me to arrange the items in columns like the tool did.

    Thanks,

    Michelle

All options selected in the checkbox should come in through the email.

I have however just made a quick test to see if there is some error by any chance, but both options I selected were sent to me.

Now, I went ahead and cloned the form of yours and added the checkboxes back to it, instead of the widgets, and tested it out - and it did not work. I did check the email and noticed that it did not include the checkbox fields, but as soon as I made a new email template it included the fields and their data.

You can see and clone the working form from the following link Michelle: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/52633943231957

You can see how to clone them by checking out this guide: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

Once you do and you submit the form, the email about the selections would be sent to you as well.

Do note however that you have set the form to be encrypted, if when such, you should not expect the emails to work properly for you, you will only get a notification that the email has been delivered. You can see more about this here: What are Encrypted Forms and how to use them as expert?

Do let us know if you have any further questions and we would be happy to answer them.
