Hi! I am still new to Jotform. I've only used it for 6 months, and barely at that. However, I now have a significant use for your product. I have an online store. I recently started carrying items that can be personalized. I would like to use Jotform for personalization requests. I will need to set up a variety of forms. But, some forms can be used for multiple products because the personalization parameters don't change.

I would like the product url to autopopulate a text field on the form. That way, both the buyer and I know which product applies to that personalization request. I have not launched the form yet. But, you can find my preliminary form here: http://www.jotform.com/?formID=20054600258.

I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out how to do this simply. I've read a variety of posts on this topic. I may be reading the forum wrong, but it doesn't look like I can simply add a variable like {url} to the default value of a field on a form. Essentially, at this point, I'm confused. I'm not a programmer. I have just enough html and css background to make me dangerous. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Please visit the following article from our user guide it provides the information on how to prepopulate the fields using the url paramaters. There are some samples which you can also use as reference.

Thank you for your reply. I actually read that post multiple times yesterday. Unless I am mistaken, it appears I have to define the value for every page. If this form works well for me, I am looking at upwards of a hundred pages, since I have multiple products and list on multiple platforms. I wanted one variable that worked for all. I will consider a different approach.
