Is it possible to control the way a matrix looks in an email submission? I have it all setup the way I want it on the form side but when it comes through the submission, the formatting goes away and it look horrible. See screen shot of email submission. Thanks!

You will notice that even the columns are not all set. The "Saturday " column gets squashed. I already tried to make it smaller in the jotform but that did nothing.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we cannot format the design of the matrix field in the Notification email of your form since this is system generated field.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.
    Regards.

Can you tell me why all columns are the same width but the last one in the picture above? Surely JF doesnt format the columns to be different widths, correct?

    Hi,

Upon further checking I've noticed some incorrect computation of the column width. Since we can't fix it by injecting Custom CSS, I will escalate this to our development team for them to fix. You will be notified once it is fixed.

    Regards.

Is there an alternative to the Matrix widget that can be customized? I need a widget that can communicate AM and PM "shift leads" for each day of the week with out having to use 12 different text boxes.

I tried to look for a way to insert a styling on the email template to change the layout of the matrix field value, unfortunately, it seems like it is not possible.

I see that my colleague has already forwarded this concern to our developers, unfortunately, we're unable to provide an expected date to when this will be fixed. But we will update you on this thread as soon as we hear any news.

Regarding the concern about an alternative, please refer to this link instead: http://www.jotform.com/answers/668917. I opened a separate thread for it so that we can discuss it better. We will address it accordingly.

    Thank you.
