How do I test for PayPal SH-256 complianceAsked by Henri on September 24, 2015 at 05:19 PM
My client uses JotForm to submit donations via PayPal on their website and I am being asked to make sure they are compliant before Sept 30, 2015 when SH-256 is being initialized.
I know that the PayPal sandbox is now SH-256 compliant.
Our servers are already updated with the latest security certificates that are using SHA-256 algorithm. This changes that are to be implemented by PayPal will not affect JotForm's integrations, so you do not have to be concerned. Your PayPal-integrated forms should work normally as expected.
My client is insisting that I test in the PayPal sandbox. Any special considerations I need as far as JotForm to accomplish this test?
You are certainly more than welcome to do that if you so desire.
If you are going to proceed with the sandbox mode testing make sure you set it to "enabled" inside your jotform account to allow it to function correctly for that.
