How to setup auto responder email to only be sent when specific conditions are met?

    Hi,

On our event invitation, we have included a question that says:

    RSVP

(option 1) Yes, I am able to attend the event

(option 2) No, I am unable to attend the event

Should guests respond yes, they receive the Auto Responder 1 (confirmation they will attend), however I have tried to setup a rule that when guests reply no, they receive Auto Responder 2 (confirmation they are unable to attend), however when I test it out, and reply no, BOTH AR 1 and AR 2 are sent to the participant.

How can I set it up that they only receive AR 2?

    Thanks,
    Sadie

I took a look at your form Sadie and I see the issue.

    Please do check this:

As you can see the "Auto Responder 1" and "Notifier 1" are not conditional, while "Auto Responder 2" is. What this means is that first 2 will always be sent, while the conditional auto responder will only be sent when specific condition is met - in this case when No is selected.

To rectify this, all that you should do is to set a similar condition as it is on "Auto Responder 2", but this time on "Auto Responder 1" for when Yes is selected.

Since it is marked as required one of the two options must be selected so you would be covering both if set like that. :)

Do let us know if you happen to have any issues setting this up or if you have any questions along the way and we would be happy to assist with the same.
