    In the drop down menu associated with the screenshot that I attached. How does one get the 'Required field' option to properly work. When testing the form, if I don't make a selection in the dropdown menu, the form submission process will still complete even though I have made it  'Required'.

    Thanks!

    Below is the code for the dropdown menu in case that is helpful:

     <li class="form-line" id="id_19">

            <label class="form-label-left" id="label_19" for="input_19">

    Hi,

    Base on your screenshot, there's already selected value on your Dropdown which is "Please Select One" that's why it won't ask anymore when you submits the form. Please take note that "Please Select One" is counted as value and not a hint word. To fix that, simply remove that line and leave the Dropdown unselected. Then use the Hover Text Tool for your field description. Please check the screen below:

    I hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions. Thank you for using JotForm and have a great day!

    I concur with my colleague's answer. Just a quick reminder : since you're using source codes, re-generate your form source codes and re-embed them after applying the changes proposed by idarktech.
