Is there a way to copy a form make changes and then copy the "new" form back over the original (so the link and all associated back end items stay)?

We have an extensive form that we have provided a link to various people.  We need to modify the form but want to do it in a "testing" environment and then deploy it back over the original form so the link and associated back end zapier continues to work.

    Hi,

If you are simply adding new fields to the form and not modifying the fields currently there, this should be possible.  Using the field manager app, you can copy fields from one form to another:

    http://apps.jotform.com/app/field_manager

The fields contained in the original form would need to remain the same in order to retain their data and the proper field ID's for your zaps.  If you remove the original fields and copy over them, your data will not be retained and the field ID's used for your zaps will be changed.  As long as you are only adding to the original form, you should be OK.  If you are fully modifying the original, you will likely lose data and your zaps may no longer work properly.
