Is there a way to eliminate an option once it is selected?

I have 6 blocks of time (is 10-11, 11-12, etc) and i want the person completing the form to let me know their first, second and 3rd choice. So after they pick their 1st choice, i no longer want that to be an option. I do not want them to be able to pick to select  three options bc i would not know which was their first choice.

You could do that in few ways Pam. The widget such as Ticket Purchases would allow you to allow someone to select a single option only once - if you wish to have this active for everyone - for example, if you wish to have it set up so that once someone selects the item, no one else can select it again.

Now I believe that this is not the intended workflow, so what I would suggest is a different widget: Orderable list

What this widget does, is to allow you to add your entries and ask your users filling out your form to drag and drop the fields in the order that they prefer to have, allowing a quick and easy way to get the order of preferences.
