How to make a text box recognize currency? For example, if someone enters 50000...I need the output/result to be $50,000 or 50,000.

The Textbox field have a Currency validation property that can be set. This will make the input recognize only numeric or currency format.
or you can also use the Input Mask property to specifically direct the end-user as to what format the input will be.
