The option to set whether to use Single or Double Opt-in in Aweber Integration

In terms of the singe vs double optin: I do enable single opt-in in every list I create.  With Leadpages, I control single vs double optin at the list-settings level, and it’s works every time.  No further communication needed with aweber.

The problem with the API is (in the way Jot interacts with Aweber), even with single optin selected in the list settings, Aweber still requires I take another step by either calling them or emailing them to have them manually turn off the 3rd party API double-optin default.

And as of lately, I have been creating numerous small list; therefore, the leadpages type integration has an edge in terms of convenience.  Any chance of changing the integration method in the future, i.e., in a similar manner Leadpages accomplishes the integration with forms?

As mentioned in your original thread, I have now forwarded this thread to our developers as a feature request. We can't promise any timeframe for this, but if there are updates, you should know it via this thread.

For now, you may consider using the same way by contacting Aweber support to enable single opt-in for your form(s).

    Thank you.
