    Reports to Cloud App are not received in Dropbox

    Hi!!

     

    I am having problems with this aplication!

    it is doesn't working!!

     

    why??

    I have tried to integrate to Reports 2 Cloud app and it worked properly for me:

    I have been sent both submissions and the test file to the DropBox account right away as well:

    Can you tell us what is the point where you experience the issues with the app?

    I see my colleague was unable to replicate the issue on his end. 

    However, looking into your issue and testing this on my side of things I found currently that I am able to receive the report only after a slight delay.

    Can you try reconnecting the app with your dropbox and excel sheets to see if this will correct it and then let us know?

    Please accept our apologies about the inconvenience and frustration that I believe this problem is causing you. Also, thank you kindly for the very detailed video of the exact issue you are having.

    Based on the situation at hand after testing this a couple more times now with your explanation of the issue I am able to replicate the same exact problem.

    It appears that the report loses connection even after connecting it. I've attempted to narrow the problem down more but it appears the issue may be on our back end after the report has been generated but I will try to experiment with this problem further to find out why so we can fix it.

    Additionally, I have also sent a report about this problem to our developers who will also check it as soon as they can and then we will update you as soon as we can.

    Unfortunately Caio there is no update in regards to this at this time, but our developer is assigned to this.

    Now since you say that Reports To Cloud app is not working, can you please test DropBox integration as an alternative until the Reports2Cloud app is fixed?

    The last state of the issue is "ongoing", so there is no update for it. Our developers are working on that to find a fix currently. 

    You will hear the news from this thread when there is a update. Sorry to have kept you waiting; but it will be fixed as soon as possible.

    Unfortunately Caio, the issue is not being possible to recreate on our side each time, which is why there has not been an update.

    I will post a comment about this to my colleagues that were able to recreate it earlier to see if they can at this time, but I do want to ask you to try again on your end as well.

    It is very likely that it will be working for you as well, but do let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

    I have fixed Reports2Cloud app. Reports files is checking every hour and uploading to dropbox if there is a new submission. For now it still synchronising reports files to dropbox every hour.

    We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

    I made thorough test of the Reports to Cloud Apps and I was able to reproduced the same issue that you reported.

    Although the integration shows SUCCESS after the configuration, when I checked the Dropbox folder, it was empty and there was no Excel report.

    after completing the integration, when I checked the Dropbox, it was empty.

     

    It seems that the issue is related to the destination folder in Dropbox. If he target folder contains non English character or the folder name text is not in English language it fails. 

    I made a test previously using only the 'JotForm' folder and it was working. The Excel report was in the folder 

    Can you please try also on your side and test it on English only folder name. i.e 'Jotform' folder. See if the integration work or not.

    We will wait for your result so that I can provide a more detailed explanation to the developer assigned to fix the issue.
