Check required field at submitAsked by Markgoessens on January 12, 2012 at 08:30 AM
I have a question about the required check. The function that checks if the required fields are filled in.
The form checks the required fields at the moment the user is filling the fields.
I think that's very annoying. Because when a user skips a question (for example: to fill in at the end, before submitting) the system directly gives a warning.
It would be nice if there was an option, to let the system check this at the end, when submitting the form.
Is this a possiblity?
This is currently not possible. It does seem like a reasonable idea, though, so I will be forwarding this to our feature wishlist. Although we cannot guarantee that a suggestion will be implemented, let alone approved, you can be assured that all of these are taken into consideration by our developers.
The sad thing is that we often do not have enough manpower to grant all requests (we do get a lot everyday). Still, we will inform you if any progress is made.
Thank you very much for using JotForm. Your input is well appreciated.
