    Embeded Form: Slow loading

Asked by Ed  on October 07, 2015 at 07:03 AM

    Hi.

Spent several hours developing a form only to find that once live, the connection speed to your server is unworkable for our visitors.

We tried embedding using both source and script url but the download of the form from your server takes to long (<> 20 seconds)

We even made a blank page and incorporated all the scripts and html, same result - our page loads immediately and then have to wait <> 20 seconds for retrieval of form data from your server.

Lovely form design system that once loaded works beautifully, but lousy data retrieval connection from your https secure servers.

For that reason we must unfortunately find another service as we dare not incorporate any third party scripts that slows response times significantly.

    Hi,

Upon checking the form http://www.jotformeu.com/form/52783930052354, it loads properly in my end. However, I noticed that you are in guest account, I would suggest that you register an account to us to fully utilize our features.

If the form is embedded on a website, could you please share us the website link? We can better check the loading speed of the form there and see if there are any code conflict between your website and of the form's resources. Here's a guide on how to embed the form on a website page: http://www.jotform.com/help/34-Adding-a-Form-to-a-Web-Page

Here's a screencast where I viewed your form. The background image seems to be of a high quality or has a large file size which may take a couple of seconds to load.

You can also check our service uptime in this link: http://jotformstatus.com/. If there are any serious downtime or service disruption, you can check the status there.

Apologies if this have caused you inconvenience. We'll wait for your response.

    Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you try re-embedding your form using the iFrame embed method? Have you experienced it on most Jotform forms or does it happen in one particular form? It may be caused by some scripts on that form.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.
