I used to be able to have the dated box as a drop down, but now I can't? Can you help?

Some of my forms have a drop down feature for the date, but when I create new forms, I don't have that option.  Instead I have the pop up calendar and users must type in the date info.

Is there a way to use the drop downs instead on new forms?

I believe what you are looking for is the one mentioned by grade4pagasa, which is the Birth Date Picker widget.
