The form height won't auto adjust when using form tabs widget to navigate the form pages and when using iframe embed

Asked by rmoulas on October 07, 2015 at 01:37 PM

    Hi,

First I want to say I think your form editor is really cool ! Good job !

I've a form height issue using forms tabs widget: http://www.prochaine-escale.com/test-3/

When I use the next and previous buttons at the bottom of the form ("Suivant" = next and "Précédent" = Previous) the form bodyand iframe are automatically resized correctly (no pb here).

But when I use the tab buttons at the top of the form (Page 1, Page 2, Page 3) the form size doesn't adjust well (in particular the iframe size).

For example if you click on Page 3 tab then on Page 1 tab you will see that the form iframe doesn't correctly resized.

Any idea how I should fix this problem?

    Thx very much!

I think this is only happening when using the iframe embed method. I was able to see the issue in your form. Here are some screenshots:

When using Form Tabs widget to navigate the form page:

As you could see, the background is too high.

    When using the page break:

There's no issue in auto adjusting the form.

I have now forwarded this thread to our developers so they can check further. If there are updates, you should know it in this thread.

For now, please try using our default embed method.

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://form.jotform.com/jsform/52584798084370"></script>

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for your answer. So I'm waiting for your developers for this issue.

However, when I try using the default embed method, I've another issue using the form tabs widget : http://www.stage-prochaine-escale.com/test-4/

With this method the background correctly resized but when I want to navigate in my form using the tab buttons (page 1, page 2 and page 3) there is something wrong in the tab selection.

For example, if I click on "Page 3", the form displays the fileds of the Page 3 (ok) but the Page 2 is selected in the tab navigation area :

Same issue if I cleck on the Page 2. I will see the field of the Page 2 but the Page 1 button will be selected.

    Any idea?

    Thank you !

The report is already assigned to our developer. Any updates will be posted here soon.

And you're correct, the form tabs widget is not showing the correct tab when navigating through pages. I have moved it on the following thread and will also forward the matter to our developers.

    Hi,

This has now been fixed.  The iframe resize code will fire upon changing pages using the tabs widgets as well as by using the standard back/next buttons. Please let us know if you continue to have problems.

    Regards,

    Nicholas

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your reactivity ! I confirm that the bug is solved !

There is still the navigation issue using tab button to solve (using the default embed method) but I can start using the form with an iframe integration.

    Thank you again !
