    Prepopulate full name field in form URL

    Asked by TeenWorks on October 07, 2015 at 02:19 PM

    Hi,

    I have successfully gotten the email to prepopulate, but I have not been able to get the full name to show up at all. What am I missing?

    I have tried several different methods and links that I have seen. This is the one I currently have;

    http://form.jotform.us/form/52784433927162?session={email}&fullName={fullName}&email={email}

    Hi,

    Have you tried checking this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

    May we know the origin form? I presume the target form that you want to prepopulate is this form http://form.jotform.us/form/52784433927162.

    To prepopulate the full name, you need to make separate parameters for first and last name. Here's the correct form URL when populating the full name field:

    http://form.jotform.us/form/52784433927162?session={email}&fullName[first]={fullName:first}&fullName[last]={fullName:last}&email={email}

    Let us know if that works. Make sure the you are using the correct field names when prepopulating the fields. Here's how to get the field names: http://www.jotform.com/help/146-How-to-find-Field-IDs-Names
